Process Group has continued to strengthen its relationship with Indonesian EPC PT Tripatra Engineering and Amerada Hess Corporation with the recent award of three Produced Water Treatment Packages for the Pertamina – Amerada Hess Jambi Merang Project.
This is the latest contract awarded to Process Group and comes only two months after the award of a Produced Water Treatment Package for the Ujung Pangkah Offshore Development. These new packages will be installed at the Jambi Merang facility along with a 70 MMSCFD Gas TEG Dehydration and Regeneration Package which was awarded to Process Group in 2008.
Process Group also delivered a Water Treatment package for the Ujung Pangkah Onshore Facility at the beginning of 2009, where PT Tripatra Engineering was the EPC Contractor.
The new packages will be located onshore and are designed to treat produced water to allow reinjection of the produced water stream.
The Water Treatment packages are being designed in Process Groups’ Melbourne engineering and design headquarters, and will be fabricated in Indonesia, with project supervision support from our Singapore office. The target delivery date is the 3rd quarter 2010. The Water Treatment packages will be manufactured from Duplex Stainless Steel materials due to the highly corrosive nature of the produced water stream.
